    |Tennis| |Match-Set-Game| |Rules| |History|

Before the beginning of the match, the umpire tosses a coin. Winner of this toss has the right to chose either service (the other player will have th right to chose the side of the court) or the side of the court ( the other player will have the right to chose the serve or the return). Afterwards the players will have a five minute warm-up time, at the end of which they receive one minute to start the first game. The serving player has two attempts to make a regulation serve. If both of them fail, a point is lost and the service goes to the opponent. After the first game players switch sides in the set, later the changes will take place every two games.

The players are entitled to a break after 3 games in a set, later after two games. When seven games have been completed, players are provided with new balls. The next replacement will occur every nineth game. In the "Tie-break", the player who has started the set will have the serve. The service will be transfered between the players after each point scored and later after 2 points scored. The player who starts the "Tie-break" has a great advantage since he plays the first set point. During the "Tie-break" the sides are change after six points (3:3, 4:2, 5:1, 6:0; later 6:6, 9:9 etc.). Both game and "Tie-break" are started with a servise on the right caro. The right caro is a service field on the right side of the player's returning and the left side of the player's serving. After a "Tie-break" the service goes to the player who served as the second in the previous game. During the play, the player cannot touch the net nor move his racket over to the opponent's side. The ball landing on a line is considered good. The chair umpire can interrupt the game if there is an object on the court that may couse some diruption.
