Casino Solitaire Rules
Casino Solitaire, a game very popular all around the world, is known by many
names such as Klondike, Patience, Canfield, Chinaman, Demon and Fascination. It
has thousands of variations and was used for relaxation by such great figures as
Napoleon, Metternich, Paganini and Churchill. Casino Solitaire provides the
players with an element of excitement by pitting the player against the house to
win real money for every card put up on the four Suit Stacks.
The object of the game is to free up cards from the deck in such a way that
the player builds 4 suit stacks in ascending order, starting with the Aces as
the base. For every 52 units the palyer wagers, he receives 5 units for each
card he can place in one of the four Suit Stack.
Rules of Play
The deal
1. The palyer uses a single deck of 52 cards.
2. There are four fundations for Suit Stacks which are empty at the
begining.
3. There are 7 Column Stacks with cards, one of them is face up. The
cards are dealt from left to right as follows: one card in the first stack,
two cards in the second, three cards in the third and so on to seven cards
in the last stack on the right.
4. The remaining cards are left in the pile in the upper left corner.
5. The player takes cards from the pile and turns them over face up. If
he finds the card that he needs, he places it in the appropriate Column
Stack.
6. The suits are Spades
, Hearts
, Clubs
, and Diamonds
.
Stacking Cards
1. The Suit Stacks have to begin with an Ace and then followed by cards
in an ascending order (example: A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K of
the Heart Suit , from
bottom to top).
2. Column Stacks must alternate red and black suits, and they must build
down in descending order of the cards' rank. This means that the player can
place either a 4 or 4
a 5 , but not a 4
or 4 .
3. Beside the face-down card pile in the upper left corner there is a
stack of cards that have been turned over by the player and the cards are
face up. This stack is reduced by playing the top card on either a Column
Stack or a Suit Stack, wherever they belong.
4. The player should move Column Stacks to free up cards which he needs
for building Suit Stacks.
Moving Cards and Column Stacks
1. The card that has been turned over in any of the columns may be
played.
2. If the player wants to move a card from one stack to another, he must
click on the highest card in the stack and drag it to the other stack.
3. Only a King or stack starting with a King can be moved into an empty
Column Stack position.
4. If the player wants to move the top card from the Play Deck to any
stack, he must click it and drag it.
5. If the player wants to move the top card from the Play Deck or any
column to a Suit Stack, he must click it and drag it, or double click it and
it will move automatically to the right stack.
6. If the player wants to get at the face down cards in a Column Stack,
he must free them by moving the face up cards to another stack or to an
empty stack position. When the top card in a Column Stack is a face down
card, the player should click on it to turn it face up.
7. When any top cards or stacks can not be moved, the player should click
on the face down pile to turn one card face up. (it will appear on the top
of the pile).
8. The player is allowed to go through the stock pile only once. When the
"X" appears, it meqans that he has turned over the last card from the pile.
The play
1. Make the Bet Selection to the amount you wish to wager, either $5.20,
$52, $104, $156, $260 or $520.
2. Click the Deal button.
3. Follow the Rules of the game. Move cards to the Suit Stacks in the
upper right-hand corner. Tip: Start by moving Aces to the Suit Stacks and
arranging Column Stacks to expose the face-down cards before you start
drawing new cards out of the stock pile.
4. When you have moved all 52 cards to the Suit Stacks, or can't make any
more moves, click the End Game button and collect your winnings.
Payout
Winnings are paid for each card placed in the Suit Stacks – the amount of the
winning depends on the amount of the bet:

The higher the wager the higher the payout!
Game options
Bet Selection. Clicking a Bet Selection button sets the amount of wager
for each round of Casino Solitaire. Selected button is highlighted to indicate
the current amount of the player's bet. The amount of bet may be changed at the
begining of the game.
Win Rate. Indicates the rate at which player will win money for each card
put up in the Suit Stacks. The Win Rate is determined by the setting of the Bet
Selecton.
Win. Indicates the amount of money won in the current game.
Deal. Starts a new game by dealing out a new hand of cards. Player may
begin to play by moving or revealing cards.
End Game. Ends the game and pays out the winnings (as indicated by the
Win). No more moves can be made after End Game is selected.
Undo. Allows player to undo last move, if permitted. The undo button is
inactive if this option is unavailable.
