Pai Gow Poker Rules
Pai Gow Poker is a fascinating game that combines the American game of poker
and the ancient Chinese game of Pai Gow. The game s played with a deck of 52
cards (including one joker). and each player is dealt 7 cards.
The aim of the game is to arranage 7 cards into two hands having the best
possible outcome fro thew five- and two-card combinations. The five-card hand
must be higher than the two-card hand. To win the five-card hand, the player
must beat the dealer's five-card hand. To win the two-card hand, the player must
beat the dealer's two-card hand. The payout is 1:1 minus a 5% house comission.
Play Procedure
Note on the deal
1. single standard deck of 52 cards plus one joker.
2. Seven cards face-up dealt to players.
3. Seven cards face-down dealt to the dealer.
Arrangement of hands
1. 7 cards must be arranged into two hands; one five-card hand and one
two-card hand.
2. Five-card hand must be higher in rank than a two-card hand.
3. The Joker can be used to complete a straight, flush, poker, and in any
other case is considered an Ace.
4. If a player is satisfied with his hand arrangements, he clicks the
Done button to compare his hands with the dealer's hands.
5. The player has an option of automatic hand arrangement according to
the method used by the casino. This option is selected by pressing the House
Way button.
Revealing cards
1. The player five-card hand is compared to the dealer five-card hand.
2. The player two-card hand is compared to the dealer two-card hand.
3. If both player hands are hogher in rank than the dealer's, the player
wins with the payout equal to 1:1 less 5% house comission.
4. If the player wins one hand and loses the other no money changes
hands. This is called a "push" or a tie. The wager is retured to the
player's balance.
5. If the player's hands are loxer in rank than the dealer's, the player
loses his wager.
6. Exact tie hands are called "copies" (for example, a player and the
dealer have a Queen and a Jack in the two-card hands). The copy is always
won by the dealer.
Play
1. The player places his wager in the marked area of the table. The
amount of wager is limited from $2 (minimum) to $100 (maximum) per game.
2. The player clicks the Deal button.
3. The player arranges his hands by moving 2 cards to the Second Highest
position, or he clicks the House Way button for an automatic arrangement
according to the method the house is using.
4. Clicking the Done button reveals the dealer's hands and decides on the
winner.
5. New Game button starts a new game.
Payout
1. If the player wins, the house pays 1:1 on the wager less a 5% House
comission.
2. Tie games return the wager to the player.

High card
The rank of a hand that contains less than one pair is determined by the highest
ranking card. If the highest ranked card of the player's hand is the same as
that of the dealer's, the second highest card is considered.

GAME OPTIONS
Chips. $1, $5, $10, $25 and $100 chips are displayed on the table. The
player makes his selection by clicking on the desired chip value. Doubleclick
will put the chip in the bet circle.
Bet circle. Left click on the Bet Circle puts the chip selected by the
player in it, right click clears the Bet Circle.
Deal. Starts the game by dealing 7 cards face up to the player and 7
cards face-down to the dealer. The Deal button is inactive until at least a
minimum wager is selected.
Clear — removes all wagers from the table. They go back to the player's
account.
Re-bet — places the same wager as in the previous game.
House Way. Arranges the palyer's hand according to the method used by the
casino. It also reveals the cards of the dealer in order to determine the
winner. If two cards are in the 2nd Highest position, the House Way button
changes into the Done button. When any of the two cards are removed from that
position, the House Way button reappears.
Done. Indicates that the player is satisfied with his hand. Clicking on
the Done button will reveal the dealer's cards and determine the winner. The
Done button will not apear until the player moves two cards to the 2nd Highest
position.
New game. Clears the cards off the table and makes the Deal and Re-bet
buttons appear again. The player can place his wager and click the Deal button
to start the game.
